Roofing scaffold
Full perimeter or single elevation, with edge protection and a proper loading bay for tiles. The bread and butter.
Thanet · East Kent · Est. 2009
Domestic and commercial scaffolding across Kent. Priced the day we visit, erected to TG20 by carded scaffolders, inspected weekly and struck the moment you give us the word — so it isn't sat on your job costing you money.

What we put up
We work for homeowners, roofers, builders and main contractors, and we're used to fitting round other trades rather than blocking them.
01
Full perimeter or single elevation, with edge protection and a proper loading bay for tiles. The bread and butter.
02
Access towers and chimney gantries. Up fast, because nobody wants a stack open longer than it has to be.
03
Sheeted or shrink-wrapped scaffold roofs so work carries on through a wet Kent winter instead of stopping.
04
Staged to suit the build sequence, with lifts added as the work goes up rather than one enormous rig on day one.
05
Pavement gantries, pedestrian tunnels, hoarding. Licence applications handled with the council on your behalf.
06
Storm damage, unsafe structures, temporary support. Out same day where we possibly can be.
How it runs
Step 01
We come and look, measure up and check the ground. Usually within 48 hours of you ringing.
Step 02
Written quote the same day, covering erect, hire period and dismantle. Extended hire priced up front so you know.
Step 03
Booked in for a date and we hold it. Compliance sheet, scafftag and handover paperwork on completion.
Step 04
One call and we're back to take it down. Site left clean, no tubes in the garden for a fortnight.
Coverage
Yard in Margate. We'll travel further for commercial work and longer hires — ring and ask rather than assuming you're out of range.
References
We use them on everything now. They price on the day, they turn up on the date they gave us, and when we ring to say we're finished it's gone within 48 hours. That last bit is worth more than being the cheapest.
Chimney came down in the January storms and they had a tower up the following morning so we could make it safe. Paperwork was all there, insurance certificate through by email before they'd even started.
First time I'd had scaffolding on my own house and I had no idea what I was looking at. They walked me round it, showed me the tag, explained what the hire period actually meant. No jargon, no pressure.
Questions
A single-elevation domestic scaffold typically runs £600–£1,200 including a standard hire period; full perimeter on a semi is usually £1,200–£2,500. Height, access and ground conditions move it, which is why we come and look rather than guessing over the phone.
Erect, six weeks' hire and dismantle as standard. After that it's a weekly rate, quoted up front on the original price so it never arrives as a shock on the final invoice.
If any part of it sits on a pavement, road or public land, yes — a licence from Kent County Council. We apply on your behalf and build the fee into the quote. On your own land, no licence needed.
We use sole boards to spread the load and we're careful about where standards land. Block paving and soft ground get extra protection. If anything does get marked we put it right.
We can fit a ladder guard so nobody can climb it, and we'll debris-net where it makes sense. Say so on the site visit and it goes in the quote.
Site visit inside 48 hours, price the same day, and typically erected within a week of you accepting. Emergencies we'll do our best to do same day.

Trades — send the address and the elevations and we'll price it off drawings where we can. Homeowners — a couple of photos of the house is usually enough to get started.
