Websites for trades · Kent

Your customers are on their phone. Is your website?

Plumbers, sparkies, scaffolders, landscapers, paving. I build the site, write the words and take the photos. All you do is answer the phone.

Under 1s

How long this page takes to load on a phone. The average trade website takes six, and most people have gone by then.

Photos too

I come out and shoot your work, drone and all. Most sites stall because nobody sends the pictures. Not this one.

£295

To get set up, then £50 a month for hosting, updates and changes. No contract beyond 30 days' notice.

Recent builds

Scroll them. They're live.

These are real, working sites — not pictures of sites. Have a scroll through one on the phone below, or open it full size. Each was built round how that particular trade actually wins work.

Plumbing & heating

Poseidon Plumbing & Gas

Built for people standing in a cold kitchen at seven in the morning. The phone number never leaves the screen, and there's a call bar fixed to the bottom of every page.

The clever bit: a price board on the homepage — call-out, CP12, annual service. The number one reason people don't ring a plumber is not knowing what it'll cost.

Electrical

SparkE Electrical

Registration number, insurance and guarantee sat right beside the headline, because letting an electrician into your house is a trust decision before it's a price one.

The clever bit: a symptom triage board — burning smell, tripping, flickering — telling people how urgent it is. Useful to the customer, and it quietly proves he knows his job.

Scaffolding

Steel Horse Scaffolding

Mostly a trade audience — roofers and builders — so the tone is priced-and-scheduled rather than warm. Heavier, harder, built to look like the yard it comes from.

The clever bit: a compliance board up top — CISRS, TG20, liability cover, inspection cycle. Those four things are the buying criteria in scaffolding, so they go first.

Driveways & paving

Kerbstone Driveways

A £4,000 decision that most people make while thoroughly confused. So the site does the explaining before anyone picks up the phone.

The clever bit: an honest comparison table — block, resin, tarmac, gravel — with real prices and lifespans, plus the planning permission rule nobody mentions. Answering the hard question first is what earns the call.

Landscaping

Fernbank Landscapes

Garden design-and-build, where the whole sale is won on pictures of previous jobs. Warmer and softer than the rest, built to be browsed rather than skimmed.

The clever bit: three budget bands — what £6k, £15k and £25k actually buys. It's the question every customer has and never asks, so answering it up front does the qualifying for them.

Handyman

RapidHand

Warmer and softer than the rest, because the customer is often an older homeowner deciding whether to let a stranger into the house.

The clever bit: a half-day and full-day rate board showing what actually fits in the time. Handymen sell hours, not jobs, and nobody else's site explains that.

How it works

Four steps, about a week.

Step 01

Free audit

I check how your site performs against Google's own benchmarks and what it does on a phone. You get the findings whether you hire me or not.

Step 02

You see it first

I build a version of your site before you've paid anything. If you don't like it, you've lost nothing but a phone call.

Step 03

I do the legwork

I come out and photograph your work, drone included where it helps, and we have twenty minutes on the phone about how you win jobs. You don't write a word or send me a single picture.

Step 04

Live and looked after

Domain, hosting, SSL, the lot. Changes are included — ring me, don't fill in a ticket.

Pricing

No quotes-on-request nonsense.

You wouldn't make your customers ring to find out roughly what a job costs, so I'm not doing it to you.

Talk it through

Included, not extra

Your work, shot properly. From the ground and the air.

Most trade websites stall at the same place: the photos never turn up. So I come to you. A couple of hours on a job or a recent one you're proud of, and I shoot it myself, including aerial work with a drone where it suits, which for roofing, scaffolding, driveways and landscaping is most of the time. CAA registered and insured. You don't dig out a single picture off your phone.

Ask about a shoot

Free, no catch

I'll audit your current site in about two minutes.

Send me the address and you'll get back how long it takes to load, what it looks like on a phone, whether your contact form actually works, and where you sit on Google for "[your trade] [your town]". No sales call attached — plenty of people take the audit and do nothing, and that's fine.
